Merry Christmas
Dave the Cheeky Monkey
Well, this one is really something. Couldn’t imagine anything funnier at such a low price.
Introducing Dave the Cheeky Monkey. This is a shoulder toy, yes it can be placed on your shoulder, that interacts not only with you but with passers by. But it has a little secret, a tiny remote with only 5 buttons that you can keep in your pocket to control Dave. So just imagine your friend suddenly getting a high-five request from a toy monkey from your shoulder. This is what I call clean fun. Especially top hit with kids and adult-alikes.
It actually has about 30 actions and just to give you a taste of it, Dave the Cheeky Monkey can: hi-five, burp, nod, shake his head, wave, etc, etc.
It is not a serious and traditional present but at a price you can’t get wrong with this one.
We know a shop that sells it at ?17.90 though the stock is limited. To get Dave the Cheeky Monkey click here.

GoGo My Walking Pup
I do remember few years ago it was another very popular Christmas Gift from the FurReal Friends it was called FurReal kitten. Now time and technology has changed and with this new instalment of Gogo My Walking Pup.

It is becoming a must have present for the majority of under 10 years olds. The Gogo My Walking Pup does exactly what it says on the tin – it walks, it barks, it makes about 18 different noises and it is touch sensitive.
The only real concern about the Gogo My Walking Pup is it is being to furry and therefore not really suitable for outdoors especially in winter It really gets dirty outside and it is quite difficult to clean. Also do not expect too much when walking Gogo My Walking Pup on uneven surfaces and pavements. We would advise to use it indoors and on flat surface like in your living room floor.
You can by Gogo My Walking Pup by clicking here.

iPod Touch
We couldn’t possibly ignore this one. New Apple iPod Touch 4th Generations is making a buzz. Now what we like and what we dislike about the iPod Touch.
Likes:
- The screen quality of the new iPod Touch is indeed should be seen. Very good.
- Design and feel – really pleasure to use, fits snugly into your palm.
- Twin cameras of iPod Touch are useful. Please note that you need to hook your iPod into the wireless router to take advantage of vide calls and internet features.
- Games are OK. We like the option of playing iPod games against a real opponent (wireless connection is required though)
- HD video recording and editing.
- iPod touch remains good mp3 and vide player.
Dislikes:
- Less then 1 megapixel camera. Come on, my phone does much better than that!
- Battery life is not good if using extensive iPod Touch apps.
- Many problems reported that new iPod Touch has problems with external speakers.
- It doesn’t come with a charger and needs to be charged from your PC. Now warning to all older PC and operating system users – iPod Touch is very picky about your PC.
Which one to buy: we would recommend iPod Touch 32GB model. Click here for the best current deal on iPod Touch 32GB.

Aroma Feet Warmers
According to the Met Office we are going through “once in a lifetime” cold spell. Snow in November??? Settling? All this is a bit too much for comfort. Especially the longest night is still ahead of us.
For the last few weeks Feet Warmers are one of the biggest hits on the Christmas presents market. One of the leading brands – Aroma has seen sharpest increase in sales for years. No wonder they are popular, cosy and fluffy, just pop them into a microwave and enjoy while hibernating in front of TV.
Unlike competing products, the warming insert of Aroma Feet warmers is made of pure Cotswold wheat. Now this is what I call organic. At the same time the brand name itself suggests that the item is fragranced. And it is correct, but it is not a dense artificial odour. Aroma Feet Warmers use very light combination of vanilla and strawberry.
Some shops are making a small fortune by putting prices for the feet warmers sky high. But others, fortunately, are running special half price offers. The model pictured is available at a half-price from feetwarmers.co.uk. Click on the picture to go straight to the page. Or alternatively check the full Aroma Feet Warmers range here.

Kindle
Kindle from Amazon is the bestselling novelty eBook reader for a second year in a row. And now with a new Kindle 3G it becomes one of the most wished-for gadgets.
By using liquid ink technology Kindle outcasts any other handheld devices in sharpness and clarity of the text and images. Unlike others the Kindle screen is not only readable under direct sunlight but even gets sharper and clearer. Liquid ink technology is so life-like, than when many people first open their new Kindle, they think that there is a stick
er attached to the screen. Meanwhile in fact it is an actual writing.
With the third generation of Amazon Kindle it is now incorporates both WiFi and 3G. And the most important thing is – Kindle’s 3G is global. Which means that you can access and even browse the Internet from your Kindle anywhere and for free from many countries. It is like having the free mobile Internet to take with you when travelling virtually everywhere with no roaming charges.
Experimental browser used in Kindle is quite good and fast. But don’t forget that the main purpose of Kindle is being an ebook reader. Amazon has even opened a special Kindle book store when you can by latest bestsellers much cheaper that he actual paper book. Amazon runs regular promotions in Kindle book store so you would be surprised how many titles you can get for free. How to pay for Christmas
With Christmas just a recent memory many of us are probably thinking; “how could I have done better?” or “What if I had the money to get that present”. Well next Christmas is 10 months away now and this gives you a great opportunity to prepare your finances to get the presents you want for your friends and family next Christmas. I also wonder how many of you turned to a loan for last Christmas, was it payday loans that helped you put a smile on your face or was it another short term loan like guarantor payday loans. You were not alone, millions of pounds are borrowed every year to help families pay for the presents, the food, and the alcohol. It is not a cheap time. In the run up to Christmas we will take you through the potential options you may have when it comes to help meet the financial shortfall but for now, let’s focus on what you can do today that can help you avoid the need to take out payday loans from payday lenders or guarantor payday loans.
Start Saving Early
It may seem obvious but by putting by just a little each week you can really make a difference. And don’t stop at just saving, make use of the government ISAs which give tax free earnings. The interest rates are low at the moment but as the mantra goes; every little helps. Indeed, my Grandmother somehow amassed thousands of pounds of savings throughout her life despite having very little money. If you don’t need a luxury now, you won’t need it in a month or 10 and saving on these unnecessary items and ensuring you do not spend it on other things can really help you when the holidays come around again.
Buy Now Pay Later
Don’t do this. Save now, pay when you can afford it. The thing is you are going to pay more later than you would if you just saved now. You have months and months to go, and let’s face it people don’t really know what they want for Christmas now anyway. The pay later companies are going to charge you a lot. Wouldn’t you rather earn on your savings and then have a little extra to spend when the time comes, or you see something you know someone would really like? Of course you would.
Christmas Savings Clubs
No. Just no. It’s simple, take control of your own finances. These companies seem like nice little clubs, they are meant to. They want your money for 10 months so they can make money from it in just the same way you could be. Then, when they finally let you have access to it, you may get your moneys worth in Christmas presents. Give them a miss this year and take control of your own money. If you can save just £12 a week from now you could have well over £500 for Christmas and that’s a lot of presents, Turkey, and satisfaction for your family and most importantly for YOU!
